MEDIUM HIGH EFFICIENCY FILTERS
 |
|
AirPak
60-80-90
Medium and high efficiency extended surface filters.
The AirPak is a medium and high efficiency extended
surface filter that offers maximum filtration at lower
cost.
Built of a galvanised steel frame with separator pockets
with extended surface.
Available efficiencies : from 40% to 95%.
Synthetic fiber media.
Available in many choices of sizes and thickness.
Thermoplastically sealed material that assures a first
order tightness.Pockets are maintained by a ribbon
to facilitate the installation. Can contain many
pockets for the same filter.
Pockets
Pockets are constructed with thermoplastic sealed
nylon thread stitching. The pockets are contoured
to assured proper airflow and dust loading. Each
pocket is individually sealed to the inner frame and
assembled to the header frame. The filter is tested
in accordance with ASHRAE 52.2 method.
Suggested temperature limit of 200°F, class 2.
Performances
Medium and high efficiency extended surface filters
These filters are first order elements that will prevent migration of
particles and micro-organisms in the systems.
The pocket filters, if they are preceded with a pre
filter, will offer a maximum performance.
Many criteria must be taken into account to select
the good pocket filter. For example, the location,
where the filters will be installed, must be verified
to ensure that they are not located near a serpentine
or any ventilating device.
The pocket filter with synthetic
media generates a loss of relatively low initial pressure
and a high final resistance. These two characteristics
make these filters a justified choice considering
the global overall performance that they offer. |

RIGID PACK |
 |
|
The RIGID PACK
Since the performance of the extended surface
pleated filters are not affected by the
variations of speed, these filters will lower
the energy consumption needed and will last
longer. Constituted of a robust metal
frame and a pleated synthetic media with metallic
netting.
Available efficiencies : 40-45%, 60-65%,
80-85% and 90-95%.
Available thickness : 6 in and
12 in
Pleats are retained by a reinforcement
assuring a better rigidity.
Description
They can be used in variable volume systems,
where the frequencies of shut-off and start
up are numerous. The structure of
these filters prevents their medias from
crumbling in stop mode and ensure a maximum
dust retention capacity.
Diagonal brackets.
Stabilizers.
The media is sealed to the frame.
The media synthetic micro-fiber.
Galvanised steel 26 ga.
Frame header.
Radial pleats.
Performances
The RigidPack filters ensure a medium to high
efficiency, 45-55%, 60-65%, 80-85% and
90-95% assuring a higher lifespan compared
to another filter type.
Unlike other filters, they can be use at velocities
as higher as 500 P.P.M. without fear a
change of performance or that the media disintegrate
until a complete stop of a ventilating system. This
makes it an ideal filter for variable air volume
systems. Due to the fact that the performance
is not affected by the changes in velocity,
the initial resistance may be lowered, the used
energy also lowered and the lifetime prolonged.
The pre-filters of the type (MAXI
AIR) will prolong the lifetime of theRigidPack
of 50% to 80%.
The efficiency and the performance are tested
in accordance with the ASHRAE 52.2 method.
Recommended final resistance : 1.50 w.g.
Temperature limit : all the RigidPack
are conceived for a continued running at temperatures
as high as 200°F (93°C), class 2.

MINI
MEDIA FILTERS |
 |

The MINI MEDIA FILTERS
Description
A high efficiency and
rigid standard filter at one-third of the weight. The
design of the pleats of the
mini-pleats filters, their aerodynamically shape
and their filtration surface allow them to meet
the demand of the users that search for a superior
quality product at a good price.
They require less space in
thickness and offer a superior performance
than the 12" thick high efficiency
metallic filters.
Their conception
make them usable in many departments like health,
industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, etc.
They replace the filters
in panels of 4" thick with a lower
efficiency, without bringing modifications to
the already existing frame.
Filtrating media composed of micro-fine
fiber inserted into a rigid frame.
Available efficiencies : 60-65%,
80-85% and 90-95%.
Available thickness : 4 in. |
